Xiao Han is the 23rd of the 24 solar terms in the Chinese calendar. It implies that the cold air
accumulation hasn’t reached its peak; however, as it usually arrives around the 3rd nine-day period following the Winter Solstice, it marks the beginning of the coldest days of the year.
To Eat: Soybean, millet, dates, peanuts, glutenous rice, chinese leaf, chicken soup, lamb, laba congee, leeks, fennel, parsley, peppers, cinnamon, ginger & trout.
To Do: Moderate exercise, goji berry & ginseng tea, ventilate the house, take a nap, and stay positive.
