Definition


The tongue will be red or redder than it normally is which indicates heat syndrome including exterior heat, interior heat, excessive or deficient heat and yin deficiency.


Common symptoms include inflammation, poisoning, vitamin deficiency, dehydration, anaemia, constipation and acne. foods such as chillies, spices, red meat, coffee and alcohol can exacerbate this condition.
