Our Story

We've Evolved

The Herbalist was founded in 2013 by Edison Levine MSc, MSc, BSc had a vision of bringing Traditional Chinese Medicine & Western Medicine together to offer a more comprehensive and modern approach to health. Over the last 12 years, The Herbalist has been helping people to reach a state of wellness by developing personalised care plans and providing treatment for an array of ailments and illnesses. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a broad concept of medical practices which are used to treat a patient holistically, not just the symptoms. A key principle is that the body is connected by a series of 12 main meridian channels that transport the body's energy known as Qi. By stimulating these channels with pressure, or acupuncture, and using herbal medicine it is possible to restore rebalance and promote wellbeing.

The Herbalist has continued to evolve over the years, adopting new techniques and expanding the services we offer to meet our client's needs and expectations.

At The Herbalist, we specialise in treating skin ailments such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, and in reducing the signs of ageing. As a qualified nurse, Edison has introduced a range of aesthetic treatments, signalling that The Herbalist has entered a new era, and we look forward to serving you for many more years!

Hi, my name is Edison. The founder of The Herbalist Health.

I am an Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner with a master’s degree in nursing. I have a vision of bringing Natural & Western Medicine together to offer a more comprehensive and modern approach to health and wellbeing.

Over the last 15 years, I have been helping people reach a state of wellness by developing personalised care plans and providing treatment for an array of ailments and illnesses.

I have promoted health on Channel 4, Celebrity Hunted and Channel 5, How to look 10 years younger in 10 days. I believe that everyone deserves to look and feel their best and it is my mission to help you achieve it.
